bank is so silly

right guys

i had a claim on 2 bank accounts same bank

well they offered me like not what i wanted so instead of going back to them i wrote to the head office which happened to be RBS in scotland, they relpied and were offering me £1155 and to close both my accounts and not sue me for the debt around £3k so out of it i got over 4k

well anyway i then have recieved 2 cheques on sat for the origonal ammount offered from the charges department, so obv ihave cashed them

but i think it just goes to show how rubbish communication is between head office and charges department, when they looked at my bank they said oh miss xxxx you have closed your bank so im like yeah and they said i did it on this date ect ect

no mention of head office giving me money and closing my acounts,... how silly are banks¬!!! in total i have had over 5k from this bank, all because of their stupid communication skills!!!!

I'd be careful as they may not of paid off the debt from your accounts, and come back after it. If they have made a mistake they can ask for that amount of money to be repaid. Just a thought. If they have closed your account and paid off the debt then they could still come after the extra they have given by mistake. I wouldn't go and rush out and spend it all

The silly one might be you!

Don’t you think RBS, in common with all other banks, wouldn’t monitor this and other forums? I suppose you’ve given them enough information (apart from your very “personal” spelling) to track you down.

Let’s see, if you get some correspondence in the near future?

they have closed all my accounts every single one i had with them

if you think rbs would find out, ill let u know if they do!!!

i got this all sorted in march and they didnt even know i cashed the cheque they sent me, told me they could find out byt would take a few days to go back in their records
they have so much going out each day i know they wont know
i should have known id get stupid replyies from ppl on here

wont bother posting in the future well i will in 12 months time to tell u all i have not heard from them

oh and RBS deal with alot of banks and i have accounts with 3 different banks whom all are under RBS!!!
