Current account after Graduate account

Hi
I'm with Lloyds TSB and my account on the 1st of August will change from being Graduate to Current.
With my Grad account I've had £1,000 overdraft which has been interest/charges free, when my account changes to a Current this will reduce to £25.
Was just wondering (as I am about to become a student again for a year!) what my options are? Can I increase the O/D (with/without charges)? Switch to a different type of account (back to a Student for example)?
Any help would be greatly appreciated :-)

Have you checked with Lloyds whether they would extend the concession for another year?0 -

What kind of course are you going on? Lloyds Bank's student account terms say you have to be on a full-time course that lasts for a minimum of two years or a one-year access course leading on to a full-time degree (http://www.lloydsbank.com/current-accounts/student-account.asp). Unless either of those is the case then you're probably out of luck, unless you want to have a look at other banks to see if their student accounts have more lenient terms.0 -

Hi coatesy25,
Is your account with us (Lloyds Bank) or with TSB?
If it's with us, from what you've said, it sounds like you won't be eligible to change to a Student Account. That's because, to be eligible, you need to be on a full-time course that lasts for a minimum of two years, or a one year access course leading on to a full-time degree.
If you'd like some advice on options available, you may wish to speak with one of my colleagues at your local branch. They'll be happy to help. You can arrange a branch appointment on either 01733 347 007 or 0845 3000 000 if you wish.
Thanks,

Check which banks offer postgrad terms - I used NatWest and they were excellent and extended my % overdraft beyond the standard limit when I needed it.
Would probably still be with them if they hadn't told me i was being sold to Santander
