Morning
I've read up on painting wicker and they advise using an oil based paint. Would an interior gloss be suitable? I'm new to this painting malarky so I have no clue.

I've only ever used spray paint on wicker. Comes up a treat, but costs 10 pounds a can. On bare wicker to get a good solid colour all over, you'd need 2 cans. I did one recently with one can, as it was cream over the bare wicker it covered nicely, and I got the effect I wanted - but if I'd wanted a deeper tone I'd have used 2. Hard to get into all the weave with a brush I'd imagine.0

I painted a wicker chair with Annie Sloan chalk paint then waxed it. Looks awesome, did it with a brush.0
