Defaults still showing 8 months after dro ends

Hi all,

as title says my credit file still shows my debt relief order covered debts as defaulting every month? is this correct as the orders 12 month period ended last september 2013.

Do defaults not stay on credit file for 6 years?

I am in an IVA and I know that is the case for me

Yes.

Your DRO may well have discharged you from your debts, but you still defaulted on them, and your credit file will reflect that fact.

Although the default's will remain for 6years, they should be updated to show the debts as satisfied/settled.

You may want to contact the lender to get them to accurately update your credit file.
