Proof of funds?

Hi, I'm new to this forum so please be nice! We've just accepted an offer on our house and had an offer accepted on a new one, so the letters from EA have started to arrive and on the letter from the EA we are buying through has asked for proof of funds. What can I show them to prove we can afford the house? To cut a long story short, when we bought the house we are in now, we got a mortgage for half the purchase price and my hubby's parents paid the other half and this is held a a second charge. This second charge amount is going to be transferred over towards the new property and we are getting a mortgage for the remainder. My question is what can I use to show proof of funds?! Thanks in advance :-)

Show them he offer letter for your house from the EA, they should have sent you one. if you are paying any as cash show them the statement for he bank it is in OR show them to your solicitor and tell the EA that your solicitor will confirm you have the funds available.0
