Do you know who their parents are? If speaking to the children doesn't work then it may be worth talking to their parents.
Where are they playing? If the ball is hitting your wall and window are they on your front garden? Or are you in a flat and they're on communal land? Or does your house front directly onto the highway? Depending on the exact circumstances there may be things that can be done but more information is needed....I can't be bothered to type up answers to all possible scenarios!Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0 -
I can sympathise with you. We had this problem growing up. Football constantly banging on our windows and car even though there was lots of space for the children to play football. My parents spoke to the kids parents and was just given grief. In the end we had to put up with it for a few years until the kids grew up and started doing something other than play football.0

@ Easyboy1,
We used to have the same problem until a few of us neighbours got together and spent the grand total of £5 on 5 sponge balls.
We then explained to the kids in the street that we knew they had nowhere to go and play footie, but we would appreciate it if they used a sponge ball as it does no damage when it inadvertently hits cars, windows, etc.
We now have a street where both the kids and the adults are happy.Understeer is when you hit a wall with the front of your car
Oversteer is when you hit a wall with the back of your car
Horsepower is how fast your car hits the wall
Torque is how far your car sends the wall across the field once you've hit it0 -
take them to the park and join in. poor blighters probably never seen inside a park0
