    [*]Save £10K emergency fund - £4.4K/£10K

[*]Save £7k to remortgage - will need £4K to remortgage, other £3K to be added to mortgage which keeps us at £320K

    £8.6K to go

Thanks to the advice from the fab Betterthanever on her diary, I have been doing swagbucks since 21st November and claimed £15, almost ready to claim next £5.

If anyone would like to sign up my referral is:

  • I'm so glad that you are getting more out of swagbucks - it really is a nice little extra! I've been amazed at just how steadily the points mount up. I was cashing out to paypal, which was nice because it is *real* money, but since the amazon vouchers have been on offer, I've been collecting them instead, and have managed to do most of my main Christmas present shopping using them. I'd always have gone for cash over vouchers before, but I have been converted a little and knowing that I don't have to spend said *real* money is just as satisfying!

Absolutely, I cashed out to Paypal twice as I prefer real money but realised that whilst Amazon vouchers are on offer I am better of with those as we order from there most months.

Had a really good day yesterday, one phone call (which I had been putting off as I hate doing it) to our insurers and we have added our home insurance to our car insurance policy and saved nearly £300 against the renewals.

Having done a comparison, the cheapest I could get OH's insurance for was £158 more than we ended up paying (with a higher excess) so that was a result.

And my £10 JLP gift card from V@lued Opinions turned up which I was starting to think was lost in the post.
