  • How frustrating!

I really do loathe dealing with banks. It's never down to a human decision any more is it. Just a case of 'computer says nooooo'... lol I sound 95 not 35 ;)

That is frustrating. It would be nice if these folk were accountable for what they say on the 'phone but it seems there is none.

We are going to put in a complaint just in case the two people were right and the mortgage advisor was wrong but don't hold out much hope!

When we applied for our first mortgage, we were going to be turned down because we were not actively paying into a pension at the time.

Our mortgage was due to end at 67 which was our retirement age at the time, however the bank was still using 65 as the retirement age. It took an underwriter to review our file and reverse the decision

    So excited it's 319s day...

Then I logged in and remembered that my online account updates at 3.00am and I won't be able to see the mortgage payment applied until tomorrow - doh!
