We are going to put in a complaint just in case the two people were right and the mortgage advisor was wrong but don't hold out much hope!wildesavings wrote: »How frustrating!

When we applied for our first mortgage, we were going to be turned down because we were not actively paying into a pension at the time.
Our mortgage was due to end at 67 which was our retirement age at the time, however the bank was still using 65 as the retirement age. It took an underwriter to review our file and reverse the decision :cool:1 -
£250 OP made so that on 2nd September after our mortgage payment has been applied we will be in the £319s...
