Hmph, mortgage payment won't show on statement until tomorrow so can't do stats until then and the amount paid off this month won't be accurate. Impatient, me?
Booked OH's hotel for next week, should be £27 cashback.
Sent phone off for recycling, will be £8, plus £3 cashback plus £15 for introducing OH to TCB and £5 for him
Dog chewed £30 USB sound connector thingy this morningIf sshe got pocket money I would be docking it!
Got some vouchers for money off posh dried cat food, on offer at Tesco so worked out I can use some clubcard vouchers and stock up for free :T1 -
December 2014
Mortgage £346,545.00
Mortgage free date 2044
LTV 86.64%
4th May 2016
Mortgage £333,259.65
Total paid off capital in last month: £670.72
Total paid off capital £13,335.35
MOS: £10,771.80
LTV: 83.31%
Amount to Mortgage Neutral - £322,487.85
So MOS has increased and ATMN has also decreased so that's good news.
On track to get in the 320s in October, a month later than originally planned but still much earlier than we would be looking at without OPing and offsetting1 -
Credit card statement finally raised so can start spending again! Ordered OH posh wellies - were £170 in shop, found them for £103 so pleased with that. Expensive but they really do last and cheap wellies are a false economy given that he wears them a lot.
Also paid for a year's line rental with BT so that will save us a bit each month. Contract expired in December but we had so much going out then with car insurance we decided to hold off for a few months to put some space between the bills needing to be paid.1 -
:hello: Kate, just wanted to say hi. Have so enjoyed reading your diary. your house sounds fab and even though I have a bit of a phobia of birds, I do love the idea of ducks and especially rescuing the chickens :T. Also love your food challenges, sounds very familiar. If only we didn't have to eat !! Good luck with your journey, have subscribed and am looking forward to reading along 😄Starting Mortgage 01.08.08 £171,209.24. Hi Chumpy, thank you for stopping by :hello:
Had a phishing text from "paypal" today about a 230 transaction and please click here if you don't recognise it (obviously I didn't click the link!) Worryingly, it was addressed to me by name which means whoever it was has my mobile and my name
Got home and checked Paypal website - no such transaction.
Checked credit card account and there are pending transactions for £650. Phoned them up as obviously concerned, turns out it was the heating oil we had delivered last Friday which I had forgotten about
On the plus side, looks like OH's additional card has been approved and is being sent so he can start earning cashback too. Latest cashback turned into M&S vouchers so we can replace OH's religious pants1 -
