Parking Ticket on Single Yellow

My mum took my car to work and got me a ticket. :eek:
SHe parked on a narrow road where she usually parks, because its narrow half the cars on pavement but seems everyones doing that in the area.

Now there is a yellow line but there is a post allowing her to park at 1pm time hse parked. Can I appeal?

ALso dont have long left to appeal if I pay can i recover the money if i am sucessful, its just i rather pay 40 then 80 :mad:

If the ticket was issued for the offence of parking on the line at 1pm you should appeal and win.
If the ticket was for parking on the pavement you should pay the fine and be done with it.

"62 - Parked with one or more wheels on any part of an urban road other than a carriageway (footway parking)

Right you have not been fined for the yellow line its clearly a fine for parking on the pavement. Just because lots of other people do it does not make it legal. Pay the fine and don't do it again

Although your mum did the parking, so she should pay.
