Advertsing free gift when not available?

I placed an order on 13th May for an Ultimo product from Figleaves that came with free cream. I did not receive the cream so rang the company who told me they would check stock levels as it was subject to availability. No one contacted me so I phoned again to be told there was plenty in stock and it would be sent on to me. Today I phoned as I had not received it and was told there was no stock and as it was subject to availability, that was the end of it. Are they legally allowed to keep advertising this offer for over 2 weeks after the free gift has run out? It seems a bit unfair to me. Any help appreciated. Thank you.

Checking the website (http://www.figleaves.com/uk/product/UO-3477/Ultimo-OMG-Plunge-Bra/?size=&colour=Pinks# - kinky
)
Buy An Ultimo Style and receive a free Bottle of Ultimo USculpt Boob and firming cream . One per order, while stocks last. Simply add the items you wish to purchase to your shopping bag to receive your free gift.
So on that one they clearly state while stocks last...

Also, i've learnt that this poor Lynne is probably very busy/stressed at work :rotfl:
So yes, stocks have run out. They should remove it but it sounds like you were either just late or the agent wanted to get rid of you on the phone (possibly). If they have offered it recently then it is technically correct but they should be removing it soon. Not sure on the legality of it to be honest.0 -
Thanks for the reply. I'm getting a call back today from someone who may be able to explain why they have been promoting it for over 2 weeks without any stock.0
