Yes, I'll bet a cancellation notice was issued.
Taxing the car in April with no valid insurance doesn't make sense.

Why would they get a notice of cancellation if the policy lapsed on it's normal expiry date?0 -
So you agree the story doesnt stack up! There is an essential fact missing from their story. More than told the OP that the payment was made late which suggests they did not make the payment before the policy was due for renewal.Smithers37 wrote: »I don't see how it doesn't stack up.
