Old Aqua Reward Card not settled

As title, after Aqua stopped offering the 3% cash back rate on their Reward card I like many others chose not to apply for their new 0.5% card which meant Aqua would automatically close all the 3% Reward card accounts as of 22 January 2014.
I understand accounts take approximately 5-6 weeks to completely close down and be reported to the CRAs as settled. However it is now nearly June and both Experian and Noddle / Call Credit show the account as active.
I called Aqua in April about this but they said it can take some time to update the CRAs while confirming my account was closed. Perhaps it's time to send them a letter.
Have any other Aqua customers noticed this?

Send them a secure message via your Aqua account asking to close it. It will be closed within 5 days and you'll receive confirmation in the post.
I assumed it would be automatic as well, but it isn't.0 -

Thanks for that, back in April they had confirmed it was closed on their system but I've followed it up now by contacting them via my online account as you suggested.0 -
Depends on what date they report to the CRAs. Mine are usually a month behind also. My closed mobile account took 6 weeks to show as settled.:beer:0

Still getting statements on mine. Just sent them a secure message, we'll see what happens.0
