Morning everyone,
Hilly Thinking of you today.
Molly, Candlelight Hugs.
nmlc Stew and dumplings and it is nearly June! What weather we have been having lately, I even had the heating on last night.
JackieO Enjoy your grandson's birthday.
Raining again here today, hope fully that will make the children stay in and revise.
I have to pick up DD2 later, she has been on a sleepover and I am meeting a friend for coffee. Apart from that another quiet and pottering day.
Did anyone else listen to the 2 15 play on radio 4 yesterday? I was in on my own and it scared me witless!!
Have a lovely day everyone.:)0 -
Morning all,
Good luck today hillstep hope it goes as well as possible.
hester thinking of your MIL today
Molly hope things are going as well as possible with mum and dad
candlelight building up the positive vibes for next week.
JackieO you seem busy, hope your looking after yourself.
I'm a bit fed up today. My brother came for tea last night and found out something about my dad that really upset me, nothing new really he's always let me down but here I am in my late forties still surprised by his behaviour. Going to try and let it go, I don't want it to affect my family.
Well dh was planning a day off today but he's just too busy and work has to come first. Instead DGS and I are having a pj day complete with a picnic on the floor for lunch as it's pouring down. Least it won't cost much and we will have fun.
My SW is going really well. I seem to have an iron will at the moment, long may it continue. I'm eating lots of healthy food. I think the secret is I'm not hungry all the time like I was on WW.
I'm going to dig my crochet out once DGS has gone off on his hols. I need something to quieten my mind, iykwim, I'm not very good but I enjoy it. Queue me watching lots of crochet videos on you tube:o as I always need a reminder.
I also need to get on and buy some birthday and Christmas presents for my stash.
Hope the sun is shining where you are, have a good day x
moorhen sorry we cross posted, I listened to it in bed last night, omg scared me to death lolStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Morning all,
Hilstep - Thinking of you
Just finished dusting and hoovering. Had to get DS2 to clear the floor of his room first. I don't know why he is so disgusting; clothes all over the floor, mainly the clean ones. Empty cups, bowls and fizzy bottles
I've also pegged the towels out and a big black cloud is looming, so no doubt it will have all been in vain.
I had to ring Southern water this morning as they wrote to us to say we were £59.99 in debit and they wanted to change the DD from £35 to £70 pm. I wanted to pay the shortfall and raise the DD to £50, they guy then proceeded to tell me we are in credit by £88! Why do they bother with these letters?! I blame the water meter fitting campaign, I'm sure it has confused the water providers.
Off to the outlet centre shortly to look for some shoes and pick up some veg etc on the way back.

Hilly I hope that all goes well for you today x
Grey here but no rain as yet, I have taken a risk and put some washing on the line because it has built up over the last five days but I am keeping an eye on the weather.
We are going shopping when DH gets home from work this afternoon, so I must go and do my list from the meal plan. I don't really need to get a lot.
I have podiatry in the morning and I want to sort out some bits to pop into the food bank on the way back, I usually do it every time I go to the dentist or podiatry because it is on the same stretch of road.
I am thankful that I am able to do it and am not in the position that those poor souls are
Toad in the hole for dinner tonight, with new potatoes and kale
Must get on so

Jessie Labrador should be here about 19:00 this evening, for a 4-night stay.:THard_Up_Hester wrote: »LW I hope it isn't long 'til you get another furry visitor.
Judi great news about those little'uns having permanent homes to go to.
I'm shaking like a veritable leaf - the people across the close are having a load of work done on their house, and one of the builders parked his car so that it completely blocked the driveway we share with next door; I just opened the window and called to him to move it, as he's causing an obstruction. He was apologetic, and complied, but I'm really shaky now.:( Stupid, eh? He'd better not do it tomorrow, because I will definitely have to go out twice on the mobility buggy, for Jessie's walks. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Remember me telling you the vet wanted Lucy dog to lose 2kg?
Well ive cut down her meals and she doesn't like it much. I left them eating downstairs and they came up to me to tell me they were still hungry.

Hi everyone,
First lot of visitors have left, second lot arrive tomorrow evening. I;m beginning to rethink this holiday home lark, lol. Never mind, there's not a lot to do, everyone makes their own beds and sis-in-law cleaned their bathroom before they left.
It's gone so chilly though, I'm cuddling up watching tv which is a rarity for me, I don't like watching the box during the day.
Have a good day.0 -

Thanks TTFTM. Of course being the Mother of one of the girls who set up the Baby House I have 'inside information'.
I have one more picture for you.
This is baby Ty. He was given up by his Mother when he was born. Her family didn't know of the pregnancy and she was hoping to get him back when she had got the full support of her family.
Well this joyful day came and this is the picture of Ty reunited with his Mother for the first time. She looks no more than a child herself.
