Just called up RBS - sadly they declined as I failed the credit check!
What a waste of time sending in signed form and wages slips which are the originals.

Thank you for all information given but for anyone else who applies please note that although credit check is done this means nothing from whatever else they ask from you as if you fail that you have failed.

    Peed off!

It sounds like you inadvertently put incorrect figures in - hence the request for payslips. The affordability calculator will be re-run with the correct figures resulting in the subsequent decline.

Unfortunately when I called them the lady said wasn't even a borderline :(

I apologise for going off on one but I wouldn't have applied for the money if it wasn't necessary. As it is the operation required will have to be put off for another 18 months.

If it's a necessary operation, the NHS will carry it out for you.

Is it leg stretching, to become a model?

It is a necessary operation but the NHS won't carry it out - I have a lot of facial scarring caused by a car accident I was in and I wanted this sorted before my wedding.

Would the hospital let you pay in installments or do they offer finance on procedures as I know that some do.

Total cost in England is £20000 of which I have to pay 50% deposit and then rest is paid over next 5 years.

OK, sorry for being a bit facetious, then.

I knnow you aren't here to discuss this side of things, but I hope that there's a chance, if you ask a second doctor, that you may get a different outcome. It's not unheard of for this sort of thing to be done on the NHS, so while exploring other options, maybe you can try a new doctor?

If a cosmetic condition or injury is causing psychological issues (i.e. makeing yu feel pretty down), then I understand that it can be looked at differently.
