inheritance payout after house sale

I am a beneficiary to my Grans estate, her house just sold (after 5 long years of being up for sale!) last week and the new people have moved in..
Approx how long should it take to hear from the solicitors regarding when I should expect my money? :o
She has the loaded handbag of someone who camps out and seldom goes home, or who imagines life must be full of emergencies..

    If everything else in the estate has been dealt with, it should only be a couple of weeks - ask the executors when they expect to send out your inheritance.
