I am considering buying this buggy for the arrival of our second child. Our first will be 14 months when born.
Has anyone got this model? Please can you tell me if you love it or regret buying it, the pro's and con's etc.
I really like the idea of having both children side by side so they can interact, but am I being oblivious to some logistical dilemna as they can be tricky with doorways. This model says fits through most.
Is there anything else I haven't thought about, especially having two children close in age. We can't afford an expensive mistake and I don't want to be looking back wishing I had bought a tandem model.
Thanks all in advance,
Bay

Hi bailey can't advise you on the double buggy options , but we have a Combi dash for our daughter it's great really light, nippy, good for getting out and about and folds up really small, in fact I just commented earlier to my oh after trecking a few miles around a local country park this afternoon how great the buggy is and how glad I was that we bought it, it doesn't have as much storage underneath as some but it's enough for most of what we need. the seat cover goes in the washing machine and comes out like new. We have had it for over a year and my daughter is still comfortable in it and she is 2 in a few weeks (and a big girl with it) I know this is not the same as the one your after but I can't fault the brand. hthBooo!!!0

We have a WE2 Combi Double. We no longer use ours as kids are 20mths and 3.4yrs, but we brought this when DD was born. We looked at a few buggies and this is the one we preferred out of all of them.
Positives:
I think it is more cosier/ comfortable than the others.. loads of padding on seats..
The front bars comes off (1 or both seats) if you wish to make it easier to put older child in.
You have pockets on the handle for small storage.. (One being a cooler for bottle)
When folded up stands up, so no bending down to pick pram up. This was great.
Needs one hand to let it down (when you get the knack).
Negatives:
You can't hang anything on pram..and the hooks that you can buy are too small
Baskets underneath seats are not easily accessible.
To put the seat up or into laying position is a drawstring method which I didn't think was really good.
Needs 2 hands to put up.
As for getting through doorways, the only one I had a issue with was getting through my own front door, weird as I could get it through my mum and dads door! lol The downside of not getting it through our front door was if dd was asleep, I ended up having to wake her to take her into house and with my dd, she would not go back to sleep.
If I had the choice again, I would've still gone for this pram.0 -

Thanks a lot for your comments its much appreicated. I can't seem to find a stockist around here, either sold out or don't sell it. I'll need to wait a few weeks until I can view the model. Pity as I've seen a bargain on ebay, but its too soon to be buying yet.
I know what you mean about waking up the baby, mine wakes up too when lifted out of buggies/car seats etc. Pain isn't it?0 -
i had an argos own brand side by side with umbrella folding and independant hoods and five position seats. cost about £120 two very heavy babies and it worked brilliantly. keep the receipt, pay over six months intrest free and if there's any problems take it back. they are very good about exchanges. ( no i don't work for them!)Time, Tide and Diarrhoea wait for no man.

ive just set my heart on this buggy. went to look in mothercare world. £269. on ebay brand new about £169.
as some of you know i cannot undo most harnesses on buggys because of the arthritis in my hands but this one has a push button which im assuming they all have yes?
the only thing i didnt think to ask to be demo'd was how to recline the seat. is it easy?
i was going to go for the phil and teds but ive heard some bad stories about it.There's someone in my head, but it's not me0 -
Anthillmob, Yes I seem to remember that it is a push button harness and was alot easier than most prams there. To recline the seat is like a drawstring button on the back of the seat... To recline its easy, but to put it back up, easier with no child in seat cos you have to pull against the weight to put it back up if you see what I mean. Also have a look at kiddicare.com, thats where I got mine from.0
