If someone goes from JSA to working is there a limit on the salary that would mean they were not entitled to tax credits?
My brother claimed WTC ok when he was self-employed - I think he said c£50/wk after having beem on JSA.
But when he went from JSA to working in 2007 he didn't claim. I assume the Jobcentre said he wasn't eligible. His salary was £32k pa that year.

Please be polite to OPs and remember this is a site for Claimants and Appellants to seek redress against their bank, ex-boss or retailer. If they wanted morality or the view of the IoD or Bank they'd ask them.

.
Yes.
It gets very complicated because it all depends on circumstances, but for a single person without children and without disability you stop being eligible somewhere between £13,000 and £14,000 per year. AFAIK, JSA is a taxable benefit and included in the calculations. FYI: most people just go to one of the tax credit estimators to work out if they are entitled to anything.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”
