Toilet inlet leaking (again)

Now I have been getting random puddles of water in the toilet for a while.
Despite it having occurred before I have only just noticed that the inlet is leaking again. It has done this several times before.
Anyway, so while the fan heater dries the area can anyone please advise the best way to fix it permanently.
Here is the set up. It is a bottom inlet into a plastic pipe on which one of these is screwed in http://www.wickes.co.uk/Compression-Service-Valve-Ebw-15mmx1-2in/p/159997 from the nearby water pipe.
I have been reading that a fixed pipe (such as I have) to one of these plastic inlets can be a nightmare for leaks (as my infrequent recurring issues seem to agree with). Would I be better taking the valve end off, cut back the 15mm pipe a little and get a new value and then some sort of flexi pipe? (I understand that since the inlet is plastic it needs to be exactly in oplace in order to not leak so a flexi would be easier). Any recommendations as to the best way to do cheers.
Cheers for any advice.

have you tightened it up!!

It's was as tight as it could safely be done.
I say that having tightened onto the plastic thread before until the entire inlet split and had to be replaced.0 -
I would try a new fibre washer in the service valve or, failing that a liberal application of Boss White or other jointing compound.0
