well done. just two more if you are doing mortgages. Another 7 if you are going for basic adviser. Another 15 if you are going for professional adviser. ;)

Thanks for everyones kind words...much appreciated.

Like Dunstonh was saying, lots more to go, but at least i am on my way at last.

The aim is to start in mortgages then after 2/3 years experience start doing the Cefa exams and once they are under my belt move in a more of a financial advisor direction.

Lots more to do, but i like a challenge! :j

    Thanks again

If you are going the full distance to invesment classification, then I suggest you read up on the FSA's Retail Distribution Review (RDR). I wasnt joking when I said 15 more exams as Cefa will not be enough under the new proposals for anything other than simple advice. So, you may want to factor in the higher qualifications into your career plans.

well done mate, did you just use the IFS study material or did you use any other guides like "The Herne Group" or in-house course?

Thanks for your kind words. I used a combination of IFS textbook, competence development tool from the IFS and also a three day revision workshop with Archer Training. I think the workshop helped for sure.
