Park Direct UK Fine

Hello,
Just wanted the latest advice on what to do with a parking charge letter sent by Park Direct UK? I have searched but could not find any recent threads.
I have just received a parking charge notice from Park Direct UK. The 'offence' was on the 18th April on a housing estate (Jennetts Park) near Bracknell. I was moving house having completed on 17th April, so hired a van and was pictured with van half on kerb and half on road so as to give myself the easiest access to my house to move all the furniture in! There are stopping/waiting restrictions and signs around to that effect but I naively thought that common sense would apply to a person who is moving house, but obviously not.
They actually sent the notice to my parents house and not the DVLA registered address for myself and only today my parents forwarded me this letter, so I am now outside the first 14 days where the lower fine would apply.
Is the advice still to ignore these notices?
Any help or advice greatly appreciated.
Tom

its not a fine , its an invoice (you wont find the word fine anywhere on the paperwork)
you also appear to have missed the NEWBIES sticky thread at the top of this forum too , has everything you need to know in there, including explanations for acronyms
common sense never works with any of these parivate parking companies, they want your money , as much of it as they can get their greedy hands on , and asap too , nothing esle matters to them0 -
There are several threads on them from just the last month alone..?
However, you need to start by reading the Newbies Sticky, which outlines your situation and options for seeing them off. Ignore stopped being a serious option quite a long time ago.
Then post back here if you need further help or advice.
Do not look at any Park Direct threads older than approx six months as the post-POFA situation is still evolving and older advice might be superceeded.0 -

Ok I have read the sticky now which I missed at the beginning. Thank you for pointing out the error of my ways.
