Hi all. Is there an EASY way to work out if eligable? I have the P60 to hand . This is for my partner. She was on EXACTLY the same wage structure & contract & was eligable last year. Any pointers/links/advice?

Do you mean JSA? What you posted is for sickness & disability.0

Hi. No-ESA. Without going into too much detail partner has mental health issues & was on a contract that has finished. Her GP has signed her off sick for the next 3 months.0

The easiest way is to apply and find out. Only DWP will tell you if you're eligible or not.0

You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset.

Thanks guys! It's the ruling re: NI contributions that are SO complicated! She earned over the LEL, has deffo worked more than 26 weeks in any one year. I gather from this that although she doesn't pay NI directly from her wages- she is 'topped up' as earns over the 'lower earnings limit'? SO confusing! Thanks all-will look at the links.0
