Thanks

Easier to just have a direct debit set up through them. Sometimes it's cleared the same day, other times it's taken 5 working days.
Credit 'Score' - Don't buy the credit 'score' that Experian, Equifax and Noddle want to sell you. It's an arbitrary number that means nothing when it comes to applying for credit.

ALWAYS HAVE A DIRECT DEBIT SET UP FOR THE MINIMUM PAYMENT ON YOUR CREDIT CARDS, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOU PLAN TO LOGIN AND PAY EACH MONTH.

It will clear by then. Vanquis has taken a double payment from me before now (I cleared via Debit Card, they took the direct debit anyway). So just be careful that you have enough funds in your bank.

I make payments through HSBC online banking, I agree with previous posters ie around 3 working days.

Remember Monday was a bank holiday. While it'll take several days to show it will be credited from the payment date.
