    Molly, Hilstep Hugs.

Redruby Hope that DDs presentation goes well.

Julie Hope that you find something to settle your stomach.

Dumpling Happy birthday to your DD.

It is wet again here, I was going to get up early and go for a walk (part of the weight loss programme) but I could hear the rain bucketing down and I have decided to go out later. Lamewolf how does Ted cope in the rain?

OH has gone to work and all the children are still in bed.

    Have a lovely day everyone.:)

    Hi everyone,

Hester, I hope the news is more positive for your MiL.

    LW, Ted is lovely.

I've not had much chance to post because of visitors but it's raining at the moment and I'm by myself so I'm grabbing the chance. WE have had a couple of lovely days, yesterday in Middleham and the day before in Kirkby Lonsdale and Malham.

We ate out last night and I didn't cook the night before so it's my turn tonight. I think I'll do chicken, chorizo and potato bake. Otherwise not a lot to report.

    Have a good day.

    Morning all,
Got a filthy cough and cold :(
Grey and chilly here, I put the heating on last night!

Up to kings tomorrow to start my chemo. Not looking forward to it, but I've got to give it a go.

Went out yesterday and spent £28 on birthday cards. I have bought DGD and DGS all their cards for every year till they are 21. I hope to be here to give them myself, but if not their Mum can do it, and they will still have a card from Gramma.:A

Don't feel I'm being morbid, just practical.

Anyway, hope everyone else is okay.

    Morning all,

Weather absolutely dreadful again today, a bit fed up with it now.

Not going out at all today, DH just gone out for a paper but it is a chance to do some deep cleaning. DH hoovered upstairs and I did downstairs, dusted and polished and about to clean the bathroom. Because we go to DD1 every day since her operation it means it is almost lunchtime by the time we are home again. She is much more mobile now (around the flat) so we are having a day off.

Hester sending positive vibes for your MIL, at least she will know what treatment they want to give her.

Hilstep sending the same for you I hope the first treatment is OK for you.Do you think you will be able to start treatment with you having a cough and cold? I don't think you are morbid just practical. As I have said I always try to be positive, but I never take anything for granted. I know this rotten disease can always rear it's ugly head again, take care.

    Morning all,

Hester, sending your MIL positive vibes and hope all goes well with the consultant tomorrow. Let us know how she gets on please.

Molly, hope all is going well with your parents.

Hilstep. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow too. Hope all goes well at the hospital.

Weather is awful here. So glad I don't have to go out in it.

I'm having words with my youngest daughter via text/whatsapp this morning. She's complaining that all my Grandson does is grizzle and cry to be picked up. I couldn't bite my tongue any longer. She took him abroad for 2 weeks and out of his routine, she bought him back and he was at home for a few days and went off with him again to Somerset for a few days. 'He aint ruling my life' she said. Looks like my idea of parenting isn't the same as hers.

Now I just look like a jealous spiteful cow.

    Oh well,

    Onwards and forwards,
have a great (dry) day all.

morning all from a grey Kent

DH doing a favour for a neighbour, powerwashing her patio whilst I sort out car insurance and breakdown cover online, we are truly living the highlife!!

Hugs to all those in need, some of you are indeed in need of them.

just caught up with my Oz family and seen a non existent 'sore' and duly sympathised with 3 year old GD

Other son working in Rio on World Cup stuff so feel a bit abandoned here in the Northern Hemisphere!

salad yet again for tea to work off the excesses of canal holiday last week, which was thoroughly enjoyable

Another wet and grey day here today :(

Hilly positive vibes for the chemo x

Candlelight positive vibes for the oncology appointment, fingers crossed your news is good x

    LW Ted is lovely x

Didn't get on yesterday because we went to St Albans to get some bits from little independant shops there that I can't get anywhere else.
Managed to get four more birthday and Christmas presents, Fathers day cards for FIL and DH plus gifts and all birthday cards for the rest of the year :D It rained all day and we were soaked by the time we got back to the car, but I felt like I achieved something.

I have the Ortho consultant on Monday so I will see what happens next because I still have tingling in both hands :(

Off to put some lunch on for DH
    BFN x
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
