I'm a bit confused (nothing unusual there, admittedly). The OP refers to The Daily Record, but in the link provided by touchstone the first question asks you to name a publication, and I can't see The Daily Record in that list?

I'm wondering whether there are any publications mentioned there that it might be feasible for somebody in Northampton to have purchased.

Roger_Rampant, all the publications are regional Scottish newspapers - presumably all linked through the Daily Record - so I'm afraid there won't be anything Northampton-based. You could have been on holiday, of course...! ;-)
