Possible daft question re first DD payment

I have a new Aqua credit card as a credit builder. Have small balance.
I want to pay off the balance in full each month.
I've already set up a DD to take full outstanding balance.
It is showing as set up on my main bank account, and on my online aqua account.
Statement date is 22nd May, and it says in the online info, that direct debit payments are taken 17 days after the statement date. My payment due date is the 9th June.
I was a bit anxious that there might be problems with first dd payment, so I sent a faster payment of £10 ( just to ensure at least min payment was made) after the statement date.
Now I'm wondering if the DD will in fact go out, as I've already made a payment.
The interest charge wouldn't kill me if it didn't go out but I'd rather not pay any interest as I don't need to. Plus my apr is 49% , so that 8.00 or so would be better off in my account! And I want to have the balance cleared monthly.
Any ideas?

It will say on your statement whether the payment will be made by DD or not.

Is the full amount bigger than £10? If so, and if the statement says that the full amount will be taken by a DD, then the only question is what amount will be actually taken.

IIRC, in the past Aqua used to ignore the extra payments and to take the statement balance regardless, but then they started adjusting the DD amount if the extra payments were made not very close to the DD date.

    Ah. Yes. Thank you.
It was a daft question after all.
I downloaded the statement, (I am sure I requested paper ones!) from the website and it states very clearly that the direct debit of the full amount owing will be taken on the 9th of June.
