My Mobile Phone insurance is due to expire through Insurance 2 Go soon and I was looking at the higher cover that includes theft.
One area I do leave my phone at risk is in a bag when I go swimming on holiday/the sea, which the terms and conditions simply say on this:
"where the mobile phone has been left unattended (other than when it is in a locked vehicle or premises as provided for above)"
Does any mobile phone insurance cover for leaving it unattended whilst swimming?
Thanks
p.s - All the Insurance 2 Go documents are freely available here: http://www.insurance2go.co.uk/docs/

They look pricey but I've found this (although hardly a set of Terms and Conditions):
"Mobile Phone Insurance before you go on Holiday:
Nothing could be worse than having your mobile phone stolen whilst swimming in the sea"

(Also quite misleading in that I can think of quite a few things which would be worse than having my mobile phone nicked, while swimming in the sea or otherwise, but perhaps I'm too literal minded.)0 -
Extremely misleading advertising given that their terms and conditions exclude "theft of the Electronic Equipment whilst left Unattended when it is away from Your home".
I did have a quick look for their T&Cs but couldn't find it. Can you post a link to it please? Thanks.0 -

Get a waterproof case so you can keep it on your person whilst swimming and so it then would be covered by the insurance?
Home insurance normally is much more relaxed on its conditions though does still have a general requirement of a reasonable level of duty of care. Of cause making multiple Home claims is not going to be advisable and quickly becomes uneconomical for something as low cost as a single phone0
