in Credit cards
Hi,
Can anyone please help/advise me on a credit card matter. I have a credit card showing on my credit file which I took out in 2006, I then got into a lot of trouble and entered into a IVA in 2007. This card did not go onto my IVA and I agreed with the credit card company to frezze the account and I would pay £30 a month back, two months later in 2007 I stopped paying this payment. I have now chcked my credit file today and this account is showing but it is sowing as never missed a payment since 2008! I have a balance of 3k on this card.
Question is, do I ignore this?
Or
Do I ring up the card company and run the risk of having a 3k balance dropped on me?
Or
Maybe offer them a one of payment to settle the account?
Please please help
