Just signed up for that one rog, they re sending a security code to my home address by second class post, and also a password to my email address
I'll let you all know if it's any good in a few days!
I've used them, they seemed okay, although there were a few 'teething problems' when they first set up, about 18 months ago. They are not 'mainstream' and I think that they get most of their information from Experian, but they were good enough for me.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. A quick word of warning. I would read the link below before you place too much faith in annualcreditreport.
http://www.debtquestions.co.uk/debt_forum/viewtopic.php?t=16591
It appears their info is likely to be incomplete, and not up to date.
I remember seeing others posts here and there stating the same.
It's normally best to go direct to the 3 main agencies if you need the info for anything more than just curiosity.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Hi Fermi - I came accross annualcreditreport last year, through the DFW forum. At that time, they were not fully national, and the validity of their information was openly questioned.
However, I compared the report that they gave me, with an Experian report, and they were, basically, identical.
I see that they are, now, fully national and I would hope that their quality has improved with their growth.
I can only speak as I find - I used to subscribe to Experian, but even they were not always 100% correct.
My only word of warning, with ALL Credit Reference Agencies, is be careful about signing up to ANYTHING where there are costs attached.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. Hi Rog2.:)
I expect (and hope) they have improved.
However if you want the same info that organisations will get when they check your CRF's there seems no substitute for dealing direct with Experian, Equifax and Callcredit. While they sometimes have mistakes, once corrected directly with them that will filter through to the third party agencies.
The third party agencies can be OK for a quick and dirty check, but for any use in anger every official source says they should not be used in preference to direct info from the main three.
It all depends on what purpose you require the report for.
The whole system really needs some reform to ensure the accuracy and access to info.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Claire, I suspect you only want to see it somewhere in black and white, I did, so why not just have a look on the insolvency website0
