Invesment Property Agents - Help needed

Hello Everyone,
My first time on this forum.
Basically requesting advice from any one one regarding a property investment agent.
What are if any rules/ regulations regarding agents selling investment properties which are either mislead through marketing statements and email etc, or where things do not stack up , thus misleading the purchaser. I have had a look at the OFT website but believe that was stopped in end of April 2014 and services have been re-routed elsewhere.
I can provide more information regarding the deal and what was sold to me and what is now being offered as in the struture of the deal.

And what the 'investment adviser' lead you to believe, and how, and in what way it was misleading.
And whether you are a BTL invester, an adviser, or some other role.0 -
You could google 'inside track' or 'instant access properties' to see what happens when the investment agent goes bust ...0
