Australian Parking Fines

Whilst back packing in Australia I bought a camper van. On leaving the country in January, I sold the vehicle and on advice from the Queensland Transport Authority the new owner was to change the details into his name as the vehicle had new rego.
I have recently received a message from 'friends' in Australia that there is an outstanding parking ticket on the van in March, but I only heard about it this month. My 'friends' won't give me the parking ticket number and during a phone call to Australia I have been advised to prove when I returned to England.
Two Questions: 1. How do I prove when I returned to England? Apparently my boarding pass won't help. 2. Does anyone have any ideas what I can do?

The Aussies only do a entry stamp on your passport now! My wife even asked for one and was told they don't do them anymore!0 -
Or ignore itWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.
