aftermarket parking sensors or camera

I have both. The camera is more useful in tight spaces.0

Anyone else for comment? And how much was it?0

After market sensors are a good thing if they are fitted properly, wouldn't attempt it if you don't like the idea of drilling into your rear bumper...
The kits are about £50 and the installer might charge something of about £150 to install...
£200 might seem a lot but if you consider you'll spend that and a lot more if you dink your bumper0 -
Our old Auris came with sensors which we liked, our new Juke came with a camera which is good BUT we prefer the sensors, so I bought a kit includes everything, even a hole cutter, under £12 on Fleabay. They were easy to fit at the same time as a Towbar and work well.
I have also just fitted a camera to the back of our caravan to see what is directly behind us, again a cheap one, under £25 for camera, monitor, leads etc and again it works well.0 -
Fitted a £15 kit from eBay which included the drill bit correctly sized and the locations for the holes were already marked on the rear of the bumber. Couldn't get a colour match from eBay so bought the unpainted ones and a tin of the correct spraypaint and sealer from halfords. Spent about £30 all in and they were very good and were reliable.0
