Car reg not put in machine

Hi, I went to a car park covered by Parking Eye bought a ticket and have still got it but didn't put in car reg (just 'e' - don't know why but was talking to friends at time) the ticket came out though. Anyway I have stubb showing I paid fully at location, date and time, so am I liable for the £60 fine and should I appeal on Parking eye website

First of all is this a windscreen ticket or a notice to keeper?
Secondly have you read the NEWBIES thread? Yes you should appeal following the information on this carefully, using the draft appeal.
You will get rejected at first appeal, but will succeed at second to POPLA.
Time to start reading.

its not a fine either , its an INVOICE

just follow the newbies thread, scan the ticket and use it as evidence when you appeal as RK (not as driver)

Appeals are covered on the top thread on the forum! Just add a point 4 to the template that 'the driver' (NOT 'I') didn't realise THEY had to put the full reg number in and so here's a copy of the ticket showing that the driver (NOT 'I') did pay and display in fact. And attach a scan of the ticket as well. DO NOT just send that point alone as a short appeal, use the longer template in the sticky thread for NEWBIES that you seem to have missed so far - and add that little bit.
