egg ppi claim question

hello,
I'm just about to make a claim for ppi on an egg credit card.
I was self employed when I took out the insurance and had long term health issues which in the past has forced me to have time off work and even change my job.
One of the questions on the claim form asks if I had any health problems when I took out the insurance, which I ticked the 'yes' box, ans another question asks if I had been off work because of this condition, in which I replied 'regular days off throughout self employment'
I'm sure that I took out this cover over the phone and although I did tell them about my self employment I can't remember being asked about my health.
I think they'll try and get out of paying back my insurance payments because of my health issues.
sorry about the long post

Most PPI does cover the self employed (though some has onerous terms) and the pre-existing medical condition which caused you "regular days off" would not have prevented a claim unless it directly made you unable to work for an extended period.
Before making the complaint, therefore, you should check the T&Cs of the insurance policy you held.0 -
just been searching on here and seen this, I need to write to Egg but so far havent found an address. I know you are PPIing but could you give me their address please? I am told by CPP that it is now Prudential but it looks like they may have been taken over by Barclaycard
