in Credit cards
Hi there. I have just joined this hoping to get some help as I am really confused.
I am looking into doing a balance transfer from my Bank of Scotland credit card, possibly to a Halifax one. However my bank is Halifax and on reading the info about the card it states:
You can transfer balances to us (£100 minimum) from most credit cards and some store cards, excluding other Halifax products.
That bit at the end (excluding other Halifax products) has really confused me. Does that mean that because I bank with Halifax (although they gave me a BOS credit card) I would not be able to carry out a balance transfer onto the Halifax credit card if I applied for it. I know this is really long winded but I am so new to all of this and really unsure.
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
