            Love this :-
"We will also be communicating with the winning bidder for any cancelled auction-style transaction during this time period to ensure they continue to have great buyer experiences on eBay"
the buyer thinks they've had a real bargain, ebay says they can't have it, so who'll get the defect ding then.. :wall:0 -
I noticed this just above the line you quoted?Final value and listing fees will be credited on sellers’ June invoice and any associated defects or negative buyer feedback removed. These protections will be applied automatically.0

            Mea Culpa
, I think its the expression "great buyer experiences (and or) expectations" in any message/email from ebay.
I automatically think that it'll cost me money & grief.0 -
I would naturally assume the worse as well whenever I get an 'exciting' announcement from ebay.
However, this is all a bit late- some of the affected items will already have been paid for and posted- too late for sellers to refuse.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. There goes all the bargains we've won, as the snipers didn't update their password on Goofbid.0

So, Is anyone thinking of cancelling their auctions before June 1st deadline?
I only have four items listed at the minute, three had opening bids in the first 24hrs together with a fair number of watchers on all 4 items. It has been eerily quiet since then.0 -
Just to add, these were ten day auctions finishing this Sunday.
