Quick growing climber suggestions

Hi, we have a large fence which looks v drab and I want to put up some trellis and climbers. I think the fence will take three or four with space in between I do like clematis but should I just have three clematis or could I have a mix of climbers next to each other?

Wisteria looks lovely but what is the spread and how long do the flowers last? Would it just naturally 'stick' to the fence or would I need a wide trellis? Would it rot the fence?

Any ideas most welcome!

Russian vine? The OP might live to regret that one.

Don't plant Russian vine, you will regret it.
How about rambling roses, say Albertine? You can mix the roses with the clematis though I haven't done this I have read that you can.
