Failed Barclays ID check

I applied for a Barclays Bank Account online, but answered one of the ID check questions incorrectly (where they ask you to confirm things on your credit report to prove you're you).
I was just going to re-apply and give the correct answers, however the email from Barclays stated
"We failed to verify your identity - Please go to a branch with ID to complete an application. Please note that if you try and complete the application online again it may fail to verify your identity. This is a security feature designed to protect your details."
Does anyone know if there is a time-limit on reapplying, i.e. I'm blocked from applying online for 1 months, or am I now unable to ever apply online again?
I do not really want to travel to my nearest Barclays branch on a Saturday (work during the week) and sit through an entire application that I've already completed.
I already have a savings account with them, which they identified me electronically for.

You will not need to sit through a branch application - their systems should be able to locate your application - so just take the ID with you.
If you do get a surly member of staff ''who cannot find the application'' because they won't get any sales points for online applications ask to speak to a manager.0 -

Different bank but I went in on a Saturday to Halifax and they took my ID documents, took a copy and handed them back to me and then looked at me as if I was stupid.
Had to ask for the manager and asked why the teller didn't just open my account, it was then opened within a few minutes by the manager.All that glitters is not gold.0
