A year passes quickly!
I'm on the wrong side of forty,so beginning to feel a bit old.Mind you, better to feel old than the alternative.
True. You can't go back in time. You can't stand still. The only alternative left to getting older is death, and that don't exactly float my boat at present. So, old is definitely where it's at! Although I am still about 20 in my head. One life - your life - live it!0 -

Yeah it does!! Each year just makes us one year more betterer!
Otherwise it makes little difference - I'm (fairly) young and knackered anyway! Enough to be off to Bedfordshire at the grand ol' time of 9pm!!

Right, NSD gang! Are we all ready for the end of month team photo? I know there may be one or two people still number crunching and not ready to declare their totals yet, but we can still get the photo done, and I am sure it will be a good photo, judging by the costumes you are all wearing.
Right, tall ones at the back, short arrises at the front......cw, I swear your St Trinians gymslip has got shorter since the hockey match...and just move the hockey stick, will you, out of Hubert's way, or it will look like the front row are eating donkey kebab-on-a-stick........kerri, your poledancing stilettos are a bit high, you look fabulous but Hubert is already eyeing up those shoes so watch it.....beanie as ever is looking gorgeous in the sparkly fairy frock complete with wings and multi-spangled Doc Martens......Igor still hasn't taken off the basque and suspenders he wore for the match (his tribute to the Rocky Horror show) and they are starting to pong a bit so clothes pegs on noses, folks!
All together now, watch the birdie and say "Enn Ess Deeeeeee!"
Lovely photo, peeps, and you will all get a copy in due course to go in your photo albums to remind you of the time the NSD gang got slaughtered by a bunch of bankers in a hockey match but had a good time anyway. Despite the nice food getting nicked by the tourists at Stonehenge. Despite the manky gerbil curry or whatever it was that Igor gave us. Despite ShirePiskie getting arrested. Despite Knitwitch getting booked for obstruction ("S'not fair, officer, it was a fancy dress do and I was dressed up as a mountain...")
Despite all the paparazzi stalking us again.
And so, as the sun sets on Ennessdee Towers, Igor locks the great front door but leaves the side gate open for those who have not yet come to add their last NSDs to the Cauldron of Doom. Marmite gets the abacus out and starts counting up, whilst Hubert gazes adoringly at all the lovely prizes lined up for those who have hit their targets and notched up several NSDs in a row.....June has been a fabulous month, but wait until we hit July........Onward the NSD legion for fun and frolics in the Forum......!One life - your life - live it!0 -

Last reported NSD was #17 on 25th, so....
26th - spendy day (Direct Debit, so did some other 'non allowable' spending as well)
27th - NSD #18 (just allowed milk)
28th - NSD #19 (no spends)
29th - NSD #20 (no spends)
and today was NSD #21 (just milk - again!).
Got the email this morning to tell me my phone bills been created, and I can have a discount if I pay within 24 hours. But I've got 24 hours before I lost that, so it's waiting for tomorrow which is already a regular spend (Direct Debit) day
Half way through the year, and I've already clocked up 109 of the 150 NSDs I want by year end, but I'll have 8.5 weeks from early September when I'll be spending every single day  As such I really need to be ahead of the game, but my target by now allowing for that was still only 90 so things are looking good :TCheryl0 -
I'll be back later, with an update.
Hubert and Igor are rustling together a prize for all those who didn't quite make target...It's something nice,so don't worry!0 -

Oh, ye of little faith......
The wait is over, and I am pleased to announce that I have whipped together some lovely fairy cakes, meaning that, for once, the Enneesdee Towers nosh is edible,as Igor and Hubert had nothing to do with making them!
Igor has developed a bit of a headache,as he's been ploughing through an ancient tome, all about Roman cooking. He's also turned a bit green round the gills, which is a definite first.I think he's met his match!;)
Hubert wanted to help decorate the fairy cakes, but grew despondent when I explained that there were no actual fairies involved.
Instead,he's slunk off to see Mrs. Wilberforce, the local seamstress.Apparently his toga needs altering,as he's developed a bit of a tummy. He also jumped on a few cakes,to make them 'his'!
The good news is that there's enough for everyone, kerri included.:D0 -
