  • When my DD first decided to be a veggie 20 years ago sosmix was the ONLY vegetarian convienience food so we had it quite a lot. I found it a bit dry for sausages but perfectly ok for sausage rolls and sausage plait. The meat eaters at our parties never seemed to notice that it wasn't meat.

I like the Redwood sausages. They are nice cold too, which cannot be said for all vegetarian sausages as many of them have a lot of fat in them which coats your mouth when cold.

just found a new website about Sosmix - really glad they have brought it back

    http://www.sosmix.com/

to answer previous posts - they removed the nasty fats a few years back & it now contains B12 - great from veggie & vegans

I make a great nut roast with sosmix, add breadcrumbs, fried onion and pine nuts, herbs (anything really!!) the pinky look can be really off putting when it's raw but it's very versatile.
