New to comping, Do you have a system?

I used to end date comp but some days there are far too many of them. I now enter them as they appear and keep track of the page with the green ticks and red crosses. I try to keep up to date with the board, as sometimes life gets in the way, etc, and if i was an end dater I'd miss out.
