I'm up early today and far sharper than the last time I saw this thread.

Now I look again, I don't think the leaves are quite right for garlic mustard either.

So, could be nipplewort after all. :o

Just thought, maybe it's called garlic mustard for a reason. Do the leaves smell of garlic?

I still think it looks like garlic mustard... had it a few years back in a woody side garden. OP... any chance of more pics, especially when it flowers... which it looks ready to do soon.

Thanks very much for the further replies. I don't think the leaves are like garlic mustard either. Apparently, they are hairless similar to nettle. Also, when crushed smells like garlic; not so for "mine". The stem also doesn't look as wild rhubarb does; it isn't hollow red and green flecks.

    (More pics to follow).

Yellow flowers can be seen. Will do a photograph once they are more distinct.

I found some of mine almost flowering today. They're yellow.

    I pulled them out!:o

I must've severely depleted the garlic mustard, but surely, they can't all have gone?
