M&S Energy Not Billin Me
My electric bill was due to be produced on 26 March 2014 by M&S Energy. I have called them 5 times to date and they keep saying there has been a problem with the billing system. I called them yet again on the 24 April 2014 and they said that I can view it online and will be debited within 14 days. Well still nothing – money is still in my account. I rang again on the 8 May 2014 to be told it was going to in that day’s bill run. It’s now the 26 May 2014 and nothing.
It would be a different matter if I was trying to avoid paying.
Can anyone advise what my best course of action would be, as every time I call, they just keep fobbing me off.

Keep the money in your account, bug them every now and again by any free method keeping a record, keep submitting readings, when thy try to bill you for over 12 months energy tell them to do one. They will learn eventually.0

I am having the same problem with Scottish Power since Nov 2013.Endless phone calls and all saying the same we will fix it and they still havent.I never stopped the direct debit they did in Nov.
Is every energy company using this new software that they keep blaming for all the mix ups? Which isnt really new software as has been in place since last summer.0 -
Do as Molerat says, save the money for when one finally comes in - put it into a savings account so you get some interest on it if you like. Whatever you do, don't spend it.
Make sure you read the meters monthly, record the readings so you can keep track of your consumption and give them a prod every now and again by sending them an e-mail with your meter readings (keep a copy so you can prove you've tried to keep them updated) and then just sit back and waitNever under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0 -
Thanks guys,
I have got the money put aside.
Just a case of waiting for them to pull there finger out0 -

I had the same for my Christmas electricity bill. It was showing on part of the system, but not on the bills to pay.
I did nothing and all was corrected in March.0
