Sainsburys nectar points not added after balance transfer

I was convinced by Sainsburys ads to transfer £2000 to their Nectar points credit card. The deal was that the balance transfer fee would be refunded in the form of nectar points onto a linked nectar card. It seemed like a no-brainer as I shop at sainsburys. It is now over 8 weeks since the transfer took place and still no points. Emails remain unanswered and all the helpline say is that the points will transfer 'shortly'. I was just curious as to whether anyone else has experienced this. I am finding the whole thing a bit tiresome. I realise it is not the end of the world but I only chose sainsburys because of the offer. I am sure i will get my nectar points eventually but I am convinced if I do not keep up the pressure nothing will happen and I wonder how many other people just have not bothered to chase it.
