I'm looking to put away money so I can buy things I want. However, as a student, I don't have much money coming in compared to going out so I am only able to put away £10 or so at a time. I am looking for the best savings account that gives good interest which I can open with a small amount (<£100)
Please help

A better idea might be a regular saver. Both Lloyds and TSB do 2% regular savers, you can pay in from £25 per month (you need to adjust the standing order each month), and make as many withdrawals as you like.
A basic savings account would be easier, but will give less interest.0 -
Nationwide does a regular saver at 2.5 (though you may need to be a customer.0

To get the 2.5% you need to increase the account balance by £500 to £1000. So no good for the OP.Better_Call_Saul wrote: »Nationwide does a regular saver at 2.5 (though you may need to be a customer.
How about the Newcastle Big Home Saver minimum £1 per month 2.4% if you make a deposit every month and no withdrawals. 1.4% in any month you make a withdrawal.
