Method & cost of entry:

PRTS Phone - call 0904 16 17 500 and follow the instructions given on the PRTS phone line to answer the competition entry question; up to 5 entries per phone number. Entrants who enter twice from the same phone number will receive an additional, third entry into the competition without charge (based on the same answer and details as submitted in their second call). Entrants who then make a fourth entry from the same phone number will receive an additional, fifth entry into the competition without charge (based on the same answer and details as submitted in respect of their fourth entry). This will take the entrant to the 5 entries per phone number limit. Each call costs no more than £1.54 from BT landlines. Other networks may be higher and from mobiles considerably more.
SMS - send a SMS text to 65433 with A, B or C to indicate your answer to the question; up to 5 entries per phone number. Entrants who send a second SMS text using the same mobile number with their answer to 65433 by the competition closing date and time will receive an additional, third entry into the competition without charge (based on the same answer as submitted in their second text). Entrants who then make a fourth entry from the same mobile number will receive an additional, fifth entry into the competition without charge (based on the same answer as submitted in respect of their fourth entry). This will take the entrant to the 5 entries limit. Each of the SMS entrant’s chargeable SMS text entries costs £1.50 plus one standard network rate message. Prize:

The prize includes £40,000 cash (“cash”), and a trip to Barbados (“Barbados trip”). Further details on each element of the prize are as follows:

Cash

A cheque for £40,000 (forty thousand pounds) made payable in the name of the entrant only. A signature may be required upon delivery.

Barbados trip

A seven (7) night holiday for the winner and up to three (3) companions (the “travelling party”) to Barbados.

The Barbados trip element of the prize includes:

return Virgin Atlantic economy flights from London Gatwick Airport to Grantley Adams International Airport in Barbados;
return limousine airport transfers from Grantley Adams International Airport in Barbados to Royal Westmoreland Golf & Spa Resort (the “Resort”) in Barbados.
seven (7) nights’ accommodation at the Resort in Barbados for four people in a four-bedroom villa with a private pool. One of the travelling party must be aged 18 or over in order to check into the Resort and a current and valid credit/debit card with sufficient available funds will be required in order to check in at the Resort for security deposit purposes.
One three course private dinner for the winner and their companions during their stay at the Resort with two bottles of wine, all prepared in the villa by a personal cook. It is the responsibility of the winner to notify the Prize Provider of any dietary requirements.
breakfast daily in the Resort’s clubhouse.
unlimited golf at the Resort’s golf course.
a Spa treatment for four people at the Indulgence Spa at Mullin Beach that can include beauty treatments or massages up to 60 minutes in length. Persons must be aged 18 or over to have any spa treatments.
travel insurance covering the winner and their companions for the duration of the trip to Barbados subject to the restrictions and the terms and conditions of the insurance provider, Planet Earth Travel Insurance Services Limited.The full policy wording (including without limitation health restrictions) is available at http://www.planetearthdirect.co.uk/docs/PolicyWording.pdf. It is the responsibility of the winner and/or their companions to meet any additional costs relating to obtaining insurance cover where they would not be covered by this insurance including without limitation for any pre-existing medical condition and for any additional costs as may be specified where the winner and/or their companions are aged 74 years or over.
The Barbados trip element of the prize must be booked and taken up before 30 June 2015 but cannot be taken between 20 December 2014 and 5 January 2015, or between 24 March 2015 and 15 April 2015. This Barbados trip element of the prize is subject to schedule and availability at the time of booking. The Prize Provider will contact the winner in order to arrange for the holiday to be booked. The trip must be booked at least 6 weeks in advance of travel.

Where any of the winner’s companion(s) are aged under 18 years old, the companion(s) must have prior parental or guardian permission to accompany the winner when taking up the prize.

In respect of the flights, the winner and the winner’s companions agree to comply with Virgin Atlantic’s Standard Conditions of Carriage and travel and ticket conditions, in force from time to time, currently to be found at http://www.virgin-atlantic.com/gb/en/travel-information/customer-service/conditions-of-carriage.html and terms and restrictions including baggage allowance. All travelling individuals must re-confirm their return flights with Virgin Atlantic. Virgin Atlantic is not obliged to carry any individuals on the return flight that did not fly on the outbound flight. No changes or cancellations are permitted after check-in.

The winner should make sure that they and their companions comply with all advance passenger information requirements. The winner and companions must travel together on the same flight. Any unused tickets are forfeited. The flight tickets are for travel in economy class only and cannot be upgraded to any other class. If the prize is not redeemed, no alternative tickets will be issued and no compensation will be provided. Once a booking has been confirmed no changes are permitted. If a booking is cancelled no alternative tickets will be issued and the tickets will be deemed to have been used. For the avoidance of doubt, no compensation and/or refund will be provided.

Once the flight tickets have been issued Virgin Atlantic shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations caused by (but not limited to) weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, hurricane, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, or any other circumstances beyond the control of Virgin Atlantic. No Virgin Atlantic Flying Club miles will be awarded for travel under this competition.

The winner and their companions must hold a current and valid passport and any other relevant travel documentation required for travel to and entry to Barbados. Passports must be valid for travel with a minimum of six (6) months on the date of departure from the UK when taking up the trip. It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure that they and their companions adhere to the entry requirements to Barbados including organising and paying any and all costs associated with obtaining visas for the travelling party. The winner must also make sure that they have any required health certificates and other documentation for the relevant journey at the time of travel. It is the responsibility of the winner and their companions to adhere to the local laws in Barbados.

It is the responsibility of the winner to inform the Prize Provider of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the winner and/or their companions when taking up the prize. It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure that the travelling party adheres to the travel itinerary and other relevant safety instructions as set out by the Prize Provider.

The prize excludes UK ground transfers to/from London Gatwick Airport, meals and drinks (other than those specified above), excursions, attractions, treatments (other than those specified above), car hire, personal expenses, and visas and vaccinations. Vaccinations are highly recommended when taking up the prize
