And if so, on what grounds?
Unfortunately there are no mitigating circumstances, we went out today and paid £1.50 for up to 4 hours. I thought the ticket ran out at 15.55 where it actually ran out at 14.55, so my fault completely.
The extra payment for over 4 hours was an extra £1, £2.50 would have covered us till tomorrow morning.
Although it is a Sunday, we arrived back at the car to find a ticket on the windscreen from Suffolk Council. All details are correct, payment is £80, or £40 if paid within 7 days.
Any help with this one please?
TIA

But DO NOT post there without pics of BOTH SIDES (please!!) of the PCN. Your case may be harder to win than most as you clearly overstayed - but you never know, there may be a wording flaw in the PCN for starters. Or maybe the Parking Places Order for that car park doesn't even make overstaying a contravention at all (never mind the signs, you need to check the Order by asking the council for it as part of your appeal). Some Orders are badly worded, believe me - I post on pepipoo myself!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
