The relationship between N+pier, Wh1tecap (another former de 5avary company) and The P4rks Trust has long been a close one indeed I believe that the PT have always owned the land that was probably leased by the de 5avary companies. The leisure centre continues to be operated by Wh1tecap - except that it is now a subsidiary of the P4rks Trust.
In other N+pier models they report to managing agents that are also members of the LLP that sits behind the ownership of the land of which de 5avary family members also belong. In business terms such relationships are known as virtuous circles. This will not have been idly constructed. My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -

You are likely to lose against n+pier esp if its a P+D , N+pier are hard beat on GPEOL, they also own or lease their car parks
But wait for the NTK to arrive, however i would consider paying the £40
KIFL I am surprised that you suggest that the OP pay £40. Does the
http://www.parkingticketappeals.org.uk appeals service pick & choose which cases they will handle for a guaranteed £16?0 -

According to their terms and conditions, the Parking Ticket Appeals Service "cover any sort of car on private land". There are no exclusions that I can see. You fill out the form, pay the £16 and that's the end of it as far as the registered keeper or driver is concerned. Seems perfect for this situation.New members, please refer to "sticky" threads that are alwasys "stuck" at the top of this forum0 -

The customer may not want to use our service, so in that case i am offering them an answer which i think fits for this PPC.
If the customer does not chose to use the service then i think they are at risk of losing at GPEOL.
As £40 is at the lower end of the scale and more *resolvable* is it worth the risk?.
Now this doesn't mean i have suddenly started batting for the other side so to speak, but just giving a rounded opinion on the matter with an eye on the bottom line for the userProud to be a member of the Anti Enforcement Hobbyist Gang.:D:T0 -

Hi tbird0062, Just to fill you in on what we have been talking about, there will be some particular challenges in your appeal to the car park operator who left the FCN on your vehicle windscreen. However, the experienced members of this group will still help you write your appeal and spend some time polishing to the exact circumstances encountered. But if this talk about this car park operator being a tough nut has scared you and you are thinking of paying the £40 then you should also look at this service whereby for a charge of £16 the service will lodge your appeal with you, and provide a guarantee that if you lose your appeal, the service will pay whatever is owing on the charge. See http://www.parkingticketappeals.org.uk for more info about the service.New members, please refer to "sticky" threads that are alwasys "stuck" at the top of this forum0

Hi everybody, thank you very much for all your contribution so far. I started the thread here because I had the feeling that an appeal would be tricky and that I could find help within this forum. All your posts confirm that this is the correct place. I give myself two or three more days time for a decision to either use the service of p@arkingticket@ppe@ls or try it myself with your help. At the moment I am more inclined to try it "myself" (even with the risk of paying £ 80 when it goes wrong). I will write in this thread about my decision before coming weekend. Once again, thanks for all your support.0
