Currys Reserve & Collect

Hi, can anyone help me?... Currys offer a reserve online, pay and collect in-store service. They currently have an offer on the Ipad Air, (£20 off).

This offer ends on Wed 28th May. If you reserved it online on the 28th and picked it up on the 29th, once the offer had expired, would you pay the new full price, or would the discount offer still stand?

Thanks

Wouldnt have thought so as you wouldnt have paid for it to get the discount.

Why can't you pick it up on the 28th ?

    Get it delivered from Currys.

No as you are paying once the offer ends.

I've ordered stuff from Currys PC World on pay and collect (in fact, my 2TB Seagate external hard drive a couple of years ago).

When I went to collect it, I paid the price on the website when I ordered it (£69.95, which was £20 off).

Even after the offer ended? Its not necessarily about matching the website price but whether the offer is still valid on that date.

Good question - and, having a little time on my hands I have trawled their site and connot find a definitive answer.

There's a further 5% off if you order for home delivery.

Because my work have given me a currys gift card, however it is being posted to me on Tuesday 1st class. So will hopefully arrive Weds, but if not, then Thurs! and currys don't accept gift cards online. So fingers crossed!

If the staff member does it properly, it will honour the price you have reserved it at. Make sure the cashier uses the 'Recall' button instead of just scanning the iPad. They should do this anyway, so I wouldn't worry about them getting it wrong.

However, the reservation will cease on the 29th on their systems, so if you are there any later, then you won't get the lower price :)

    SuperHan is right.

The price you reserve it at, is the price you pay when you collect. (So long as your reservation hasn't expired)
