Hi All
I have just been offered % of my claim, this is basically a payment to stop it going through the whole court proceedings. I am in two minds as to take it or continue for the full amount.
- Originally asked for £4482.50 this was without interest
- Gesture of goodwill for £430 was refunded into my account but was suppose to be £508
- I paid £250 in court fees to take them to court asking for the total amount of £5620.22 which is minus the GOGW but plus the interest
- They are now wanting to give me £3653.14 - GOGW(£430) = £3223.14 which they say is 65%
So again am just interested to hear if others feel I should continue in taking it further or is the offer a good deal?

I believe that you are only entitled to interest if you actually go to court.
On that basis £4,083.14 out of £4,482.50 doesn't seem too bad to me.
Perhaps it would be worth writing to point out that they underpaid you £78!
Can you get your £250 refunded if it doesn't go to Court? If yes then I think I'd be inclined to settle.
Just my opinion though.0 -
If it was £4083.14 I would be happy to take it but they are offering me £3223.14
I would only get the £250 if I win my court case.Joined pay off as much debt as you can 2012 challenge!!!!!!!!

I suppose it all depends on your own situation but i would take the money. I can see why it would be a difficult choice but if i had the option of getting a fair amount of cash without going to court i'd take it.
Good luck:beer:0
